Work Requests

Creating a New Workorder

  1. Log on to CatLink.
  2. Click on the "Facilities Workorder" link in the "Make a Request" box on the lower left of the Home tab.
  3. Fill in necessary fields (sample below) including location, description, requester, phone and e-mail information. You will find that the bolded ones give you options to choose from. You have to choose one of these options. If you do not see your item listed, choose general.
    * There are 6 maintenance shops. Plumbing, HVAC (heating and air conditioning), Electrical, Housekeeping, Grounds, and General. If you have several items that you are requesting, please put similar requests on one form as these go directly to the workers in that area. 

    This automatically lists a work request in MicroMain and assigns it a number. It also notifies the Facilities department that a request has been made.

  4. Click on Create Request.

Checking the Status of a Workorder

  1. Log on to CatLink.
  2. Click on the "Facilities Workorder" link in the "Make a Request" box on the lower left of the Home tab.
  3. Click on View Status.
  4. Fill out the required fields (sample below) and click on Update View. Number, service, status, due date and requester will be shown.

WORK IS DISTRIBUTED BY PRIORITY by the main supervisor.
