Fitness Classes

Our fitness classes are FREE and open to all students, faculty, and staff. No sign-ups required — just show up when you can make it! All instructors are certified from the YMCA.

Class Schedules

  • Yoga for Students, Faculty and Staff
    Tuesdays @ 5:30pm (1 hour)
    Center for the Environment, Room 319
    Begins Jan. 24 
    yoga.jpgStrong Body. Calm Mind. De-stress and recharge while building strength, flexibility, balance, mental clarity and focus. Yoga poses are linked to the breath, with pose variations provided for all levels. No experience necessary!  Wear comfortable clothing. A limited number of yoga mats are available (or bring yours if you have one)!

    Wednesdays @5:30pm (1 hour)

    Let the music move you!  Zumba® is a total workout combining all elements of fitness--cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, with a boost of energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.  No wonder it's called "exercise in disguise!" And is it calorie-burning? That would be a "YES!" 
    Dress ready to sweat. Athletic or court shoes (cross trainers, etc.) are STRONGLY recommended, as is bringing water!  WATCH VIDEO
