How to earn points

1 point

  • 1 mile walking/running/elliptical
  • 2 miles bicycle
  • Disc Golf holes (1 – 9 played forward and correctly)
  • 30 minutes of lifting

2 points

  • 2 miles walking/running/elliptical
  • 3 miles bicycle
  • 60 minutes of lifting
  • Racquetball (class participation not included)
  • Use of Wellness Center DVDs; Zumba, Dancing with the Stars, Kickboxing
  • Attending a fitness class on campus (submitting ‘points’ for this can be done through email)
  • Sand Volleyball for 30+  minutes
  • Ultimate Frisbee for 30+ minutes

3 points

  • 3+ miles walking/running/elliptical
  • 4+ miles bicycle
  • Playing pickup basketball for at least 30 minutes (practice not included)
  • Playing pickup tennis for at least 30 minutes (practice not included)
  • Use of Wellness Center DVDs; P90x and Insanity
  • Swimming for 30+ minutes

Rules

  • Other than walking/running/biking, all other activities should be done on campus
  • Participants must submit their activity points within 48 hours of the activity
    • If walking/running/biking off campus a weekly email of tracking is acceptable
  • Participants “max out” at 5 points a day


Point Breakdown and Prize Drawing Dates

Drawing 1:

  • Drawing Date: Wednesday, March 25
  • 5-20 points earned are required to be entered
    • Prize 1: Skull Candy Headphones
    • Prize 2: Skull Candy Headphones

Drawing 2:

  • Drawing Date: Wednesday, April 15
  • 21-50 points earned are required to be entered
    • Prize: Blender Bottle combo pack, Drawstring bag

Drawing 3:

  • Drawing Date: Monday, May 4
  • 51+ points earned are required to be entered
    • Prize:  FitBit Charge
