Academic Coaching

An academic coach works with a student one-on-one to develop his or her skills to be a successful learner.

Sessions may focus on:

  • Time Management
  • Organization
  • Study Skills
  • Exam Preparation

Typically, the first session lasts 30-45 minutes. Weekly, face-to-face check-in meetings last 15 minutes.

Academic coaching is available to all students, from first-year students navigating college to sophomores and juniors taking introductory courses in their majors, to seniors working toward graduation. An academic coach can walk a student through most any obstacle and assist a student establish good habits that lead to success.
