Jordan has 24 years of financial services industry experience and had previously served as First Horizon's chief financial officer before moving into his current role as president and chief executive officer. Before joining First Horizon, he served as chief financial officer at Regions Financial Corp. His experience also includes positions at Wachovia (formerly First Union Corp.) and KPMG.
In 2011, Jordan was reappointed to the Federal Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve. He serves on the boards of Youth Villages and Memphis Symphony Orchestra, and on the Community Advisory Board of Baptist Hospital. He is co-chair of the Tennessee CEOs Against Cancer Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
He earned his baccalaureate degree in finance and accounting from Catawba and currently serves on the college's board of trustees. Jordan and wife Kim are parents of three children.
