scholarships
The Athletic Training curriculum has a unique scholarship program that students are eligible to receive once they are admitted into the ATEP. Students are admitted into the Athletic Training program during the spring semester of their freshman year, unlike other schools that wait until the summer or even the student's sophomore year.
MID-ATLANTIC ATHLETIC TRAINERS SYMPOSIUM
The Athletic Training Staff, along with eight Athletic Training Students, attended the symposium in Virginia Beach. The athletic training students attended educational meetings, participated in the athletic training games, and had the pleasure of meeting the new president of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Marjorie Albohm.
Athletic Training club volunteer projects
The Athletic Training Club assisted the Medicine Shop of Salisbury with their Health Fair. Ten Athletic Training Students volunteered their efforts to provide free blood pressure, blood glucose, weight, and body fat measurements for thirty individuals. The Medicine Shop Health Fair was coordinated by Mrs. Teresa Casmus, RPh.
