  • An outstanding athletic training student at Catawba College from 1991-1995.
  • Director of Exercise & Physical Therapy for Total Care in Huntersville, NC from 1998-2002.
  • Senior Medic & Paramedic Crew Chief for Mecklenburg EMS Agency, Mecklenburg County, NC from 2000-2008
  • Managing Director for Precision Fitness in Cornelius, NC (four rehabilitation clinics) from 2002-2011.
  • President of Fit Responder in Davidson, NC from 2009-present. Provides ergonomic training, fitness & wellness programs and injury prevention services for Fire-EMS and Police.
  • Author of the “Fit Responder: Fitness, Wellness & Injury Prevention for the Public Safety Professional.”
  • Column writer for EMS1.com, Officer.com and the National Strength & Conditioning Association's Tactical Branch, along with serving as an advisor to the Public Safety Athletic Trainers Society.
 

GrahamCarrie Graham '95, MA, ATC

  • An outstanding athletic training student at Catawba College from 1991-1995.
  • Earned a Master of Arts Degree from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI in 1996.
  • Assistant Athletic Trainer at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH from 1997-1999.
  • Assistant Athletic Trainer at University of Washington in Seattle, WA from 1999-2003.
  • Clinical Coordinator/Instructor for Athletic Training at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT from 2003-2009.
  • Program Coordinator of Public Health Learning Community at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT from 2010-present.
  • National Athletic Trainers' Association Women in Athletic Training Committee member from 2006-2008.
  • Member of the Executive Council for the Connecticut Athletic Trainers Association (CATA) from 2006-2010 and elected President of the CATA in 2012.

Jeff Tucker '90, DPT

  • An outstanding athletic training student at Catawba College from 1986-1990.
  • Earned a Master of Arts Degree in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University, Slippery Rock, PA in 1993.
  • Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer at North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC, 1993 – 1995.
  • Director of Rehabilitation Services and Sports Medicine at St. Lucie Medical Center & Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Port St. Lucie, FL, 1995-2000.
  • Developed first community-wide Sports Medicine Program that provided seven athletic trainers for the seven community high schools in Port St. Lucie, FL.
  • Named Clinical Instructor of the Year at North Carolina Baptist Hospital, 1995.
  • Named JCAHO “Best Leader” and “Best Plan of Care” in 1998 during the St. Lucie Medical Center hospital-wide joint commission accreditation.
  • Currently, Owner/CEO and Physical Therapist for Premier Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine, Port St. Lucie, FL.
