Secondary Teacher Licensure

Students seeking secondary (grades 9-12) teacher licensure in Comprehensive Social Studies must satisfy the requirements for the B.A. degree and for undergraduate teacher licensure (including the Secondary Education Minor and student teaching) outlined under the heading for the Department of Teacher Education. Department of Teacher Education in this catalog. Students must include in their program: HIST 1112, 1113, 1114, 1201, 1202, 2400, 3310; ECON 1901; EDUC 2105; POLS 1101; SOC 1101 or 1501.
