Karen J. Gordon

Karen has been a certified notary instructor since April 2008 and has taught notary classes for several community colleges.

She retired from Forsyth County Government in 2011 with 30 years of service. Over twenty-seven of those years were in the Register of Deeds with the last 14 months as the Register of Deeds.

Veronica is a Medical Billing and Coding Instructor with over 10 years' experience teaching medical administrative courses. She also works as a remote coding auditor and physician educator. Veronica is a former practice manager and has conducted numerous E/M coding training courses for providers along with several coding courses for prospective coders.

Veronica is credentialed through the American Academy of Professional Coders as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC). She also holds a certification as a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Additionally, Veronica has an American Health and Safety approved training center where she teaches Basic Life Support (BLS - CPR) and First Aid.

Kim Stotesbury, DREI

  • Distinguished Real Estate Instructor (DREI)
  • Past President of the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association (NCREEA)

Kim earned a North Carolina broker license in 1989 and, as a North Carolina Real Estate Commission approved instructor, began teaching real estate prelicensing courses in 1992 at Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She has dedicated her career to real estate education.

Kim earned the Distinguished Real Estate Instructor designation (DREI) in 1997 and is currently one of eighty nine instructors in the United States to hold the DREI designation, conferred by the national Real Estate Educators Association (REEA).

Kim is a past President of the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association (NCREEA) and is an award winning educator. She received the North Carolina Real Estate Educator Association's Educator of the Year Award and the North Carolina Real Estate Commission's Billie J. Mercer "Excellence in Education" Award 2004.

Kim has helped write, design and edit numerous educational materials for sponsors/schools in her 25 years of real estate education, and has received the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association's Most Outstanding Program of the Year award
