Study Abroad in Cambodia

cambodia.pngDr. Phillip Frank and Dr. Paul Baker are planning an international study trip to Cambodia in the summer of 2015. The goals for the trip are:

  1. to expose students to business (textiles, etc.) in foreign markets
  2. to expose students to NGO’s (Non-Governmental Organizations) and their contribution to humanity and business operations in Southeast Asia
  3. to expose students to global finance systems
  4. to expose students to average consumption practices, giving them a chance to see alternative cultural practices as it relates to business, society, family

Dates have not been set or confirmed. The length of the trip will be two weeks and will be sometime during the summer (May/June/July) months in 2015.

We will travel to Phnom Penh as the primary destination with side trips to Siem Reap and Battambang Cambodia. 

Students will be required to purchase travel insurance for the trip to cover:

  1. Medical Services
    1. Consult a Physician
    2. Dental Emergency
    3. Medical Emergency (including surgery and hospitalization)
    4. Medical Evacuation
    5. Emergency Assistance Services
      1. ID Theft
      2. Lost Passports, Visas, etc.
      3. Delayed and Lost Baggage
      4. Travel Delays and Missed Connections
      5. Trip Interruption
      6. Air Flight Accident
