Below is a list of the  seniors currently available for adoption in our "Adopt a Senior" program:

  • Musical Theatre major

  • After graduation, plans on moving to the Big City to make their dreams come true

  • Has performed in several shows  at Catawba College

  • Has been a member of the Dance Ensemble since  freshman year

  • Recently nominated for a Metrolina Theatre Award

  • Nominated for an Irene Ryan Acting Award at KCACTF

  • Will make their professional debut in the musical CATS at North Carolina Theatre

  • Gives thanks to  family and friends for their constant support



  • Musical Theater major, Dance minor

  • Previous theater performances include roles in Legally Blonde: The Musical and Damn Yankees.

  • Has a competitive dance background

  • Currently teaches beginner tap, jazz and ballet at Precision Dance Center in Charlotte, NC.

  • Has studied classical voice since the age of 8 as a member of the Charlotte Children's Choir for 10 years and continues to study voice at Catawba under the instruction of Christina Pier.

  • Was crowned as the first African-American Miss Queen City 2013 and competed for the title of Miss North Carolina, receiving 3rd runner-up and the overall talent award in the pageant. 

  • Plans to continue a career in theater and hopes to premiere on the Broadway stage one day.



  • Theatre Arts major, Studio Art and English double minor

  • President of Alpha Psi Omega, National Dramatic Honor Society 

  • Currently works in Catawba's Costume Shop as a work-study student, First-Hand, Second-Hand, and as a Designer for several shows

  • While a student at Catawba, has served as an Assistant Costume Designer for Huck Finn, the musical (MTA nomination for Outstanding Costume Design) and as the Costume Designer for Once on this Island (MTA nominee for Outstanding Costume Design), Charlotte's Web, Almost, Maine (St. Thomas Players), and Pinocchio's Sister: a World Premier (St. Thomas Players)

  • Recently designed costumes for Catawba's production of True West

  • Has worked the past three summers first as an Intern for St. Thomas Players (Salisbury, NC), then as Costume Staff for Castleton Festival Opera (Castleton, VA), and most recently as a Stitcher for Central Piedmont                Summer Theatre (Charlotte, NC)

  • Hopes to attend graduate school for an M.F.A. in Costume Design and then to pursue a career as a costume designer for a professional children's theatre



  • Originally from the Atlanta area

  • Attended Young Harris College before coming to Catawba

  • Enjoys working on Shakespearean pieces, comic plays, Children's theatre, and working in front of the camera

  • Primary goal is to be a working actor; however,  intends to work in props, electrics, and wardrobe crew when the opportunity presents itself

  • Enjoys the outdoors

  • Is currently a Senator of the Blue Masque, a Spanish Tutor, and a work-study student assistant in the library



  • Lighting Technician out of Asheville, North Carolina

  • Has designed many shows, two of which have been selected to receive awards at KCACTF Region 4 and MTA in Charlotte

  • Known for comedic style on and off stage

  • Desired career choice is programming and Lighting Technology 

  • Plays football at Catawba College and loves the Indians! GO CAT-U!



  • Theatre Education major, Biology minor

  • Has been seen throughout the Charlotte theatre scene performing onstage and constructing backstage

  • Recent works have earned  MTA nominations for Lighting Design and Sound Design



  • Has a strong interest in musical theatre and directing

  • Spent the summer playing a role in  "Legally Blonde" at The Barn Dinner Theatre and working with James Grey and Susan Stroman through KCACTF and The Open Jar Institute in NYC.

  • Favorite roles at Catawba include those from "The Life of Galileo", "Once on This Island", and "A Tuna Christmas"



  • Theatre Arts major

  • Originally from the Florida panhandle

  • After graduation, is interested in moving to California, Atlanta, New York, or Chicago.

  • Interests include: Acting, directing, carpentry, lighting, experimental theatre, physical theatre (very much so)

  • Is a decent singer, not really a dancer - but definitely a mover and a shaker!

  • Past roles at Catawba include those in "Audience," "As I Lay Dying," "Legally Blonde the Musical," "References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot," and "True West"

  • Worked at "Unto These Hills" outdoor drama in Cherokee, NC this past summer

  • Is an accomplished carpenter and electrician and really enjoys doing both

  • Could spend the rest of their life doing experimental theatre and be completely happy with that.

  • Has this to say about working and the future: "I just want to work. I want to go wherever I need to go to keep learning and keep pushing myself in new exciting things. I really don't care if it doesn't pay that well (right now), as long as I can pay my bills with that and probably a second job."

  • Wants a family, eventually, but has no idea how to manage that given the career choice

  • Considering going to grad school, but unsure of the exact field of study. Has looked at Accademia Del Arte in Italy and Naropa University in Colorado

  • Interested in directing and acting

  • Would love to work in Atlanta, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Orlando



  • Theatre Arts Education major

  • Has been seen on-and-offstage at Catawba, serving as Stage Manager, Props Master, Assistant Music Director, and recently seen in a role in Legally Blonde

  • Serving this year as the Blue Masque President

  • Is a member of APO

  • Serving as this season's Assistant Director for Little Shop of Horrors and Director for The Fantasticks
