A little more about me:
I am originally from New Jersey but I moved to North Carolina my freshman year of high school. I have always been interested in performance but it was not until coming to Catawba that I realized my potential in technical work, specifically carpentry and some lighting. I am a theatre education major but this came mostly as a result of my need to have a plan “B,” which is something I did not realize until late into my college career. In all honesty, I am very unfocused as far as my goals go for theatre but the ability to perform and travel has consistently been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Catawba Professor, Erin Dougherty, once referred to me as a Theatrical Generalist in a review my Junior Year. In thinking over my ambitions for the future, I feel I would like to keep this title. From wanting to be everything from a director to a stuntman, I think my dreams have far forgotten the concept of consistency.

I am also directing a Blue Masque show, Waiting for Lefty, this semester and have found directing to be a rewarding experience that I would like to continue with later on in my life. I have thoughts about pursuing a Master’s Degree in Directing and plan to move to a large city once my undergraduate degree is complete.

Hoping to pursue a writing program post-grad, but if not, I would love to be a part of the production team for newly developed works. I have traveled frequently and extensively, and would love the chance to workshop a new piece and take it to new audiences as it is being refined. I believe experiences such as these would be the most helpful in furthering my goal of personally developing new works in the future.

A little more about me:
A native of Asheville, North Carolina, I am working towards BFA Design and Production Major with a focus in Costume Technology and Design and a double minor in Musical Theatre and French. I found my passion for costuming as a sophomore musical theatre major at Catawba when I was given the applied theatre position of first hand for a production of True West. After that, I quickly switched my focus and major to costuming and this work has now be seen in many Catawba productions.
