- Information About Student Personal Computers (PDF)
Includes information about hardware/software requirements and recommendations, as well as information about technology purchasing discounts for Catawba College students. Catawba College supports secure wired and wireless network access for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Apple computers.
- Network Access for Resident Students: CatNet Connect (PDF)
Resident students should follow these one-time per computer instructions to set up their personal computer to connect to the Catawba College residence hall network. Secure wired and wireless are both available in the residence halls. The CatNet Connect set up will also allow the computer to connect to the secure wireless network anywhere it is available on campus.
- Network Access for Commuting Students and Campus Guests (PDF)
Commuting students should follow these one-time per computer instructions to set up their personal computer to connect to the secure wireless network and/or the secure public wired network. Instructions are also included on how to connect to the low-security guest wireless network, which requires no special set up
- Fees and Charges (PDF)
There is no charge for internet service. Network cables and a virus/spyware removal service are available for purchase. Other than for resolving network connectivity issues, Computer Services does not work on student computers, but can recommend local computer service companies that offer a Catawba College discount.

Office Location & Hours
Our offices are located on the first floor of Hoke Hall. The public entrance is on the North Park Drive side of the building. Our hours of operation are:
- Monday and Thursday: 7:45am to 6:30pm
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:45am to 5pm
- Saturday and Sunday: Closed
