Discovery Day Events
 This is a fun day with various outside activities, so plan to dress casual and comfortable!
- Information Fair for Parents:
Offices represented to answer questions from parents will be:
- Chartwells Dining Services
- Campus Public Safety
- The Lilly Center for Vocation and Values
- Computer Services
- Registrar's office
- Campus Scavenger Hunt: The Amazing Race meets our campus as you'll take your own exciting team tour of campus in search of a prize.
- Financial Aid Consultations: Our Financial Aid Office will be open for individual consultations during this time. Meetings will be available by appointment.
- Parent-to-Parent: Several parents of our current Catawba students will be available to discuss their experiences and answer questions. We will host three 20 minute sessions during this time. For a brief description of each parent’s student, please see next page.
- Mini-Class Experiences: Discover what a first-year seminar class will be like as you take part in sessions taught by several of our faculty members.
- Giveaways and Prizes: You NEVER know what you might go home with!
- Lunch: Join us for a cookout for lunch! Mingle with even more members of the Catawba College community!
(Activities should end around 1:00 p.m)
Other Events
After our event concludes, we offer you free admission to afternoon campus activities, including CATAWBAPALOOZA, clubs fair, and athletic events. These events are optional, but we hope you'll stick around and take advantage of all we have to offer!
