A Special Note
by Welsh Referee Nathan Mullock
Editor’s Note: You might say that Catawba’s Women’s Soccer Team is known by the fine impression they leave in their wake as they make their way through the British Isles on a 10-day, pre-season, pre-school team trip. Through Catawba’s website, we received this nice e-mail from a Welsh referee who worked one of their exhibition matches.
Hello. This is a quick note to thank the women's soccer team for their excellent participation in a game against the Welsh Women side (11th August 2008). I was the referee for that match, and I must thank them for their excellent discipline and for participating in a very well contested match. It was greatly appreciated by myself and my officials that a great deal of respect was shown between players and also players and officials, and we thank you once again for that. Hopefully, they will enjoy the remainder of their tour in Great Britain, and myself and my colleagues wish them well for their remaining matches.
Many Thanks
Nathan Mullock Llanelli, Wales
