Stephanie Cook, fraternal twin and daughter of Wyatt and Sheryl Cook, is a rising junior at Catawba College. The Milton, Georgia native will be spending four weeks taking classes and studying Spanish in Madrid's Ciudad Universitaria through the Forspro study abroad program. She will be accompanied by groups of students from different colleges and universities all across the United States as well as a group of her peers from Catawba.
Stephanie is enrolled in a morning and an afternoon class during her time at the university. These courses will transfer back to Catawba and she will receive course credit for both. She will be taking Hispanic Short Story in the mornings and will be a part of the afternoon Advanced Conversation and Comp class focusing in on Business content. Besides being an active member of her classes, Stephanie will also be touring Barcelona and will embark on other journeys throughout Spain and possibly travel to other countries in Europe.
She is currently a Communication Arts major at Catawba with minors in Spanish and Business Administration. When she is not studying in the library, she devotes her time to playing tennis on the Catawba Women's Team, being a class officer in the Student Government Association, being a member of the Delphinian Society, and participating on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC).
