Local students were among the 124 students participating in the N.C. Council of Teachers of Mathematics state contests that Catawba College hosted on Thursday, March 25, 2010. Tests in Algebra I and Geometry were administered by the Catawba College Mathematics Department and the top seven students in geometry and the top nine students in Algebra I qualified for the regional contests.
