- What was your favorite experience on this trip?
“A group of us walked the entire four miles to the Eiffel Tower. When we got there, it was too late to go up; instead, we laid down directly underneath it. Me, Jesse and Mike just realized what awesome friends we were. It was awesome!”
- How has your perspective changed on this trip?
“In Germany, I had the time of my life! To be honest, I had this weird idea about Germans. I don’t know what it is, but didn’t like it. The people, their culture, their way of life just threw it in my face at how wrong I was. It was one of my best nights!”
- What have you learned through your experiences?
“I’m not going to write about the facts I learned, but this trip reminded me of just how powerful music can be. During school with friends, work, shows, and everything else, the music becomes less of a priority and you forget about it. This trip has brought us together as an ensemble and helped touch other people if only for 10 minutes. It just makes me realize that my dream of music is something worth chasing.”
