Be a part of the Future of Newman Park

Be a part of Newman Park history. As we begin construction on Phase 1, we have some unique opportunities for you to be a part of the transformation.

As we make room for new seatbacks, we want to extend an opportunity to you to purchase a set of two old seatbacks for $200. We have only 70 available for this opportunity.

During Phase 1 construction, we will be installing 144 NEW seatbacks behind the home plate backstop. You can make a lasting investment in Newman Park by naming a seat in honor of your favorite player, coach, or fellow alum. Naming rights for the new seat backs are $1,000 each and can be paid over a 5 year pledge period.

We are excited to see the renovations finally taking place in historic Newman Park. We want you to be a part of the future of Catawba Indians Baseball.

*If you purchase old seatbacks, you will be contacted to arrange a pick-up date within the next week.

Bryan Ketchie finished Catawba with a career record of 31-7 in 308.1 innings pitched and 226 career strikeouts. Bryan had his career best in two categories this past season: 10-1 record & a 1.82 ERA.  Congratulations to Bryan Ketchie on signing with the Schaumburg Boomers @boomersbaseball of the Frontier League!

Bryan's accomplishments at Catawba: Two time All-SAC, Two-time, All-Region, 2019 SAC All-Tournament Team, 2021 All-Defense, 2021 SAC Pitcher of the Year, and 2021 All-American.
