Chief Communications Officer

Tonia joined Catawba in 1997 as assistant to the President. She moved into her current position January 2001. She holds a B.S. degree in English from ECU and an M.A. degree in English from UNC-Charlotte. Prior to joining the college, she worked as special projects manager at WCNC-TV in Charlotte.

Marketing Specialist for NSSA and Catawba College

Danielle joined Catawba College in 2015 as Marketing Specialist for the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Assocation (NSSA) and Catawba College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of South Carolina, School of Journalism and worked for more than 25 years in the NASCAR Industry. Over the years her corporate clients have included The Home Depot, Square D/Schneider Electric, Yellow Transportation, NASCAR CAFÉ, Cooper Lighting, Graybar, Goodyear, NASCAR, Husqvarna, Toy State and Borla Exhaust.

Tracy MacKay-Ratliff 

Tracy served as Director of Graphic Design & Staff Photographer at Catawba College from 2007-2016. In July 2016, she transitioned to her new role as graphic design contractor and continues to work for Catawba remotely from Columbia, S.C. She earned a B.A. in Studio Arts from the College of Charleston, S.C. in 1994.

Web Designer/Developer

Maegen joined Catawba in 2005 as Web Designer/Developer and focuses exclusively on creative electronic and media design (websites, Flash, videos, e-cards, mobile apps, e-mails), as well as the design, development and maintenance of the public websites and the majority of Catawba's social media network sites. She holds a B.F.A. in Graphic Design and has worked as a web and print designer since 1995 with clients including DEWALT, Porter-Cable, TimeWarner, UPS Racing, General Electric and Jeff Gordon Racing.
