We offer a number of academic success services to help you realize all of the opportunities that Catawba has to offer. These services include:

The Writing Center
The Writing Center provides free, one-to-one tutoring to all Catawba students who are working on writing projects. Our undergraduate peer tutors work with writers of all abilities and at every stage of the writing process.

The Math Center
The Math Center provides help to all Catawba students who need math assistance. The student workers in the Math Center have the ability to help with any and all level math classes.

The Honor Code
As members of the Catawba College Community, students must uphold the value of academic honesty that grounds our institution.

Academic Policies and Standards

Students who wish to waive/amend graduation/degree requirements, academic probation/standards, or other policies delineated in the Catawba Catalog may petition the Academic Policies and Standards Committee (ACPOL). Read more below:

Programs and Centers

Catawba's various programs and centers serve many roles such as academic support, enrichment and community outreach. These include:

Information including Catalog, Class Openings, Degree Verification, Enrollment Verification, Exam Schedules, FERPA, Forms, Policies, Registration, Transcript Requests, and more.

Corriher-Linn-Black Library

The Library has become an increasingly important nucleus for research on the Catawba campus. In addition to its growing collection of print books and journals, the Library also houses the largest instruction lab on campus, laptops for checkout, and wireless access throughout its interior and outside patio. These features combined with ample collaborative and private study spaces, have made the Library a major campus technology hub. Read more below:

College Bookstore
More than just Catawba College apparel, the bookstore carries gifts and a selection of textbooks, computers, and supplies that will ensure every Catawba College student is prepared for success.


Most disciplines offer internship opportunities to enrich and supplement classroom experiences. Students embrace such opportunities as a chance to network and make valuable contacts that will be useful when they begin their job search after graduation.
