2008 Baccalaureate Service and Marshal's Walk

Mother and DaughterCatawba held its Baccalaureate Service in Omwake-Dearborn Chapel on Friday, May 9 with remarks provided by the Reverend Dr. Kenneth Clapp '70, Catawba's senior vice president, chaplain and director of the Lilly Center for Vocation and Values. His message was entitled, "It's Morphing Time."

Following the service, the graduates holding lighted candles were led by College Marshal, Professor David Pulliam, from the Chapel along Oliver's Way to the exterior of the Robertson College-Community Center. There, the graduates heard messages from several Student Government Association members and the College Marshal.

A reception for the students and their families followed in Peeler Crystal Lounge.
