Catawba College Presidential Honor Roll Announced

HedrickA total of 101 students have been named to the Presidential Honor Roll List for the 2011-2012 academic year at Catawba College, according to Dr. W. Richard Stephens, Jr., Provost of the College.

Students named to the Presidential Honor Roll List have achieved a 3.7 grade point average in 30 or more semester hours.

Founded in 1851, Catawba College in Salisbury, N.C., is the sixth oldest college in the state.  It is a private, coeducational college that has a student body of close to 1,000 students.  The institution offers over 40 fields of academic study and fields 18 NCAA Division II athletic teams.  Students enjoy small classes with an average student to faculty ratio of 16 to 1.  Approximately 75 percent of students live on the 276-acre campus.  For more information on Catawba, which is known for its strong theatre arts, music, business and science programs, visit www.catawba.edu.
