Catawba SEGS Students Commissioned as Junior Marshals

seal-embossed.pngEleven students from Catawba College's School of Evening and Graduate Studies were commissioned as Junior Marshals in an April 23rd ceremony.  Director of the School of Evening and Graduate Studies, Dr. Jeff Bowe, and College Marshal, Professor David Pulliam, officiated at the ceremony.

These Junior Marshals were chosen from the junior class based on academic rank and are among the most honored students on campus.  They embody the best ofCatawbaCollegein both academic achievement and service to the College community.  They will represent the College in formal graduation week ceremonies, adding order and dignity to the proceedings.

SEGS Junior Marshals for the 2015-2016 academic year include Courtney K. Alderman of Salisbury; Burnita A. Clemon of Charlotte; Melissa Dale of Concord; Amanda Dawson of Salisbury; Deborah A. Goldner of Mocksville; Sharane Graham of Charlotte; David A. Henry of Mooresville; Damian T. Lewis of Mocksville; Lynette McCorkle-Turner of Charlotte; Brandy O. Shoaf of Lexington; and Emily M. Stanley of Kannapolis.

Four SEGS Junior Marshals from the 2014-2015 academic year also agreed to continue to serve during the 2015-2016 academic year. They include Joanna E. Anderson of Salisbury; Kelly Leigh Ball of Lexington; Jessica Lynn Harvatin of Mooresville; and Liliana Pulido of Statesville.
