June SEGS Open Houses Scheduled in Kannapolis, Salisbury and DCCC Campus

Several open houses for Catawba's Evening Program are scheduled during the month of June.

Prospective students will have the opportunity to learn more about the evening degrees offered by the School of Evening & Graduate Studies. View details on the open houses and programs below:

Open House for the Bachelor's Degree Completion Program Offered on the Campus of DCCC
DCCCCatawba College's School of Evening and Graduate Studies will hold a drop-in interest session on the main campus of Davidson County Community College on Monday, June 18 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Conference Center Building at DCCC. Prospective students are invited to drop by at any time for an overview of the program and financial aid opportunities.

The program allows community college graduates to take Catawba classes on the main campus of DCCC to earn the bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Birth-Kindergarten Education. Catawba's unique block format in the evening allows students to concentrate on one course at a time. Classes meet on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-9:45 p.m. and one Saturday morning per month. Students complete one course per month for 12 or more credit hours per semester. Tuition in the evening program is comparable to that of North Carolina public universities, and federal and state financial aid is available.

According to Dr. Edith Bolick, Dean of the School of Evening and Graduate Studies, "Our graduates report that the personal attention in our classroom-based program and our one-course-per-month format have contributed greatly to their successful degree completion."
