One Voice Presents First Annual Black & White Ball at Catawba College

One Voice, a student gospel group at Catawba College, is sponsoring the first annual One Voice Black and White Ball between 7 and 10 p.m. Monday, April 24 in the Peeler Crystal Lounge on campus. The event will promote community unity, the value of community service, and will recognize two recipients of the inaugural One Voice Heroes (Helping Everyone Realize Opportunities while Experiencing individual Success) Awards.

This catered event is free and open to Catawba College students and other invited guests, however space is limited and tickets are required. Tickets will be distributed to students during meal times in the Cannon Student Center April 18-21. Those attending the Ball are required to dress in formal attire.

Members of One Voice who are organizing the Black and White Ball include junior Tonicia R. Mullins of Somerset, N.J.; senior Dennis E. Reed, Jr. of Charlotte; senior Jeffery Smith of Newman, Ga.; sophomore Elizabeth Foye of LaGrange; juniors Angela F. Jacobs and Candace Jacobs, both of Trotwood, Ohio; senior Cyonna Hallums of Clinton, Md.; and junior Maurice Antoine "Jake" Vance of Gastonia.
