Silent Auction on August 9 to Benefit Catawba Athletics

We have just the event to get your competitive juices flowing! Come and enjoy the Silent Auction on Tuesday, August 9 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in Kirkland Lobby of Goodman Gymnasium on campus.

There will be something to fit every pocketbook, and all proceeds will benefit the Athletics Department! Key items up for bid include:

  • A week in a home in Manteo, NC that sleeps 15 ;
  • Golf for a foursome at Rock Barn near Hickory, NC ;
  • Four Tickets for a Carolina Panthers game ;

  • NASCAR Driving experience at Lowe's Motor Speedway ;
  • A wine tasting experience with our own past Catawba President Fred Corriher ;

We will accept cash, credit cards, checks and piggy banks! There will be hors d'oeuvres and plenty of liquid refreshments to encourage your participation in a great event that will support the Athletic Department, students, and coaches as we prepare for an exciting 2011-2012 year!
