liefert-grimes.jpgTwo Catawba College students, Madalyn Liefert, a Business major pursuing a concentration in Entrepreneurship, and Francis Grimes, a Psychology major pursuing a minor in Entrepreneurship, have been accepted into the CEED lab, the Catawba Entrepreneurship and Experiential Development lab, on campus.

The two students, who both have active ventures – one relating to personal care and the other to food, recently traveled to Charlotte to meet with Louis Foreman, the CEO of Enventys (https://enventyspartners.com).

The students were accompanied by Jay Abraham, Ketner School of Business Dean, and Dr. Renee Just, an assistant professor and director of the CEED lab. The meeting was to explore next steps in bringing these students' products to market.  Discussions concerned options available, potential prototypes and a path to crowdfunding.

Just called the meeting "a very exciting step for our students and the CEED program as a whole."
