Academic courses with significant China content:
- POLSC 1105 - Introduction to Comparative Politics, (Fall 2008), Dr. Silverburg. Contains a unit on modern Chinese government and politics.
- EDUC 2105 - Regional Geography (Spring 2009), Dr. Freeze. Will include a particular emphasis on China in the second half of the term.
- TA 2116 - Asian Cinema (Spring 2009), Dr. Hood. "All China, all the time." The instructor will focus the class by region ( Hong Kong, Taiwan, Shanghai, Tibet, Beijing possibly some western China).
- BIO 2502 - Biodiversity, Dr. Lowery. Contains a unit on the diversity of animal life in China.

- China discussion group meetings: This group will meet once a month at various Chinese restaurants and discuss aspects of Chinese history, culture, politics, etc. Led by Dr. Gary Freeze and Dr. Kurt Corriher. Open to all interested parties, with proviso that members must contribute information to the discussion as requested. - Biodiversity of China

The students in Dr. Constance Lowery's class, BIOLOGY 2502: Biodiversity II, are making posters about animals of China. Students will display and talk about their posters with the college community. Dim sum will be available for attendees to sample as they enjoy the posters. Following the poster session, a 45-minute film entitled "CHINA: The Panda Adventure" will be shown. All interested persons are invited to attend.
