• Fall Tuition Payments: Every July 15th

Refund Policy

Tuition overload charges, tuition charges for graduate, online students, and students taking fewer than 12 hours are not refundable after the last day to "add a course."
(See academic calendar).

IMPORTANT: During shorter academic terms like summer sessions, winter term or other abbreviated intensive study periods, NO REFUND WILL BE MADE AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF SESSION'S CLASSES.

Student statements and payments are handled through TouchNet, Catawba’s Electronic Statement and Payment Center. From here, you can:

• View and print your student statement.
• Check your current account balance.
• Make a payment with electronic checks (ACH) and credit/debit cards.
• Setup installment payment plans
• Authorize parents and others to view your account information, and make payments on your behalf

Third Party Payments

The Third Party billing process at Catawba College allows outside organizations including military agencies, educational institutions, international embassies, or state prepaid tuition programs to pay a student’s educational expenses.

Catawba's Finance Office coordinates the Third Party Payments process, preparing and sending the bills/invoices for qualified tuition and fees. 

State Prepaid Tuition Programs
Many states offer prepaid education plans that Catawba College can bill on the student’s behalf. Students should notify their Third Party Payer each semester if they wish to use their state prepaid accounts. Temporary credit for the expected sponsored amount will be placed on the student’s account. The Finance Office will bill each sponsoring prepaid plan after the final drop/add deadline outlined on the Online Payments page.

Students should contact their state’s prepaid plan directly with questions regarding eligibility and payment amounts. Any amount not covered by the Third Party Payments is the student’s responsibility.

All faculty, staff, and students are required to have a Catawba ONE Card, our multipurpose campus identification card. In addition to serving as picture identification for members of the campus community, the ONE card allows students, faculty, and staff to access buildings, printer/copiers, and computer labs, use a meal from their meal plan, purchase food from our on-campus dining options, purchase books, snacks, apparel, and more!
