Information Technology is responsible for creating and maintaining the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure at the college. This includes the data, voice, and cable networks and all the computers, devices, software systems, and data bases that connect to these networks. Our goal is to provide secure and reliable technology that advances teaching and learning and streamlines administrative business processes. We are excited about technology and strive to share our enthusiam and knowledge with our faculty, staff, and student customers.

Contact the IT Help Desk Service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week:

Contact the Campus IT Help Desk: 

  • Visit https://helpdesk.catawba.edu to open a new IT service request ticket using the 'New Request' link (requires a working Catawba username and password)
  • Stop by the IT Help Desk on the ground floor of Hoke Hall during business hours. This is often the best way to resolve device connectivity issues. 

Please note that password resets can only be done by phone or live-chat (24 by 7) or in person at the Hoke Hall IT Help Desk (during business hours).


Office Location & Hours

Our offices are located on the first floor of Hoke Hall. The public entrance is on the North Park Drive side of the building. Our hours of operation are:

  • MONDAY - FRIDAY: 7:45am-5:00pm
  • SATURDAY & SUNDAY: Closed
