Students

Log into Handshake with your catawba.edu email address.
Follow the instructions.
Complete your profile in order to get the best experience and personalized recommendations.

Alumni

Sign up for a Handshake account.
Choose the Student/Alumni option.
Register for a New Account.
TIP: If your catawba.edu email address is still active, it requires fewer steps to register!
You will receive a pending email from Handshake. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email. Once you've received the email, confirm your account. NOTE: Alumni approvals can take up to 24 hours, so please keep checking your email.

GETTING STARTED:

Join Handshake

Visit Handshake and enter your information to sign up for a new account
After completing employer registration, you will receive a notification when your account is approved by Catawba College and any other institutions you selected.
Complete your employer profile as thoroughly as possible - this will generate greater applicant interest.
Post opportunities! (see below)

Connect with Catawba

Log into Handshake
Go to "Schools" in the left side menu.
Click on "Add More Schools" and enter "Catawba College".
Once you request Catawba College, we will review your profile before approval.

Post a Job

Log into Handshake.
Go to "Jobs" under Postings.
Click on "Create Job" in the upper right.
Complete a job posting using as many details as possible.
On the left menu, select "Catawba College" as a school you would like to post the job to.
Enter the application start and expiration dates.
Click "Create".

Applicants who do not meet your qualification preferences will still be able to apply, but Handshake will feature and filter those if you choose.

TIP: View all posted positions by clicking on "Jobs" from the left menu.
