Get married at picturesque Black Lake Retreat Center!









Located near the "Heart of North Carolina" at 4709 New Hope Church Road in Asheboro, N.C., it is just minutes from the Uwharrie Mountains and is the perfect setting for your special day:

  • A beautiful 8-acre lake
  • A spacious conference center with a large assembly room (maximum capacity of 120), two additional mid-sized conference rooms, a commercial kitchen, restrooms, and a large deck with rocking chairs and a view of the lake
  • A large, multi-purpose picnic shelter that also overlooks the lake and includes picnic tables, a commercial kitchen and access to two restrooms with showers
  • A worship/meditative area

You are welcome to decorate in advance of your special day! Please note that you will be responsible for post-event cleanup and returning any keys/items borrowed.

Bridal Rooms
If your bridal party needs a room in which to get ready, please let us know in advance so that we can arrange space(s) for you. Depending on availability, there may be a fee for the use of a room.

Please contact Penny Rice at (704) 637-4488 or for fees associated with reserving the Black Lake Retreat Center for your wedding. Be prepared with the details of what spaces you're interested in, how many rooms you will need, etc.

Black Lake Retreat Center is available year round, January through December.

We require a non-refundable deposit of $100 (applied to your bill) at the time you make your reservation. Your total cost will include any rehearsal time(s) needed before your wedding.
