Returning to College as an Adult Student

You may be a bit nervous about returning to school as an adult student to earn a business degree or education degree. You may have questions about how returning to school might affect your finances, how returning to school might affect your family, and how returning to school might affect your work.

You may already have one degree and need another one to advance your career. Many of our business bachelor degree students have an associate’s degree in business, and our birth-kindergarten education degree requires an associate’s in early childhood education.

You may have started a degree program earlier in life until life got in the way and you stopped. We find some of our best adult students are returning to the classroom after more than 10 years. Every student in our 2017 graduating class had transfer credits.

You might be wondering if you should even return to school as an adult because of your other commitments.

The more you think about it, you might be a lot nervous.

We understand. All of those are normal questions and concerns. Our flexible work-friendly format is designed for working adults. We have a special course to help you transition back to college.

We are here to help the working adult student earn a bachelor’s degree. Whether you are returning to school after 15 years, or transferring from a community college, you will find other students just like you, and faculty who understand how to help. Contact us today to talk about your next steps.
