Dr. Jennifer Yurchisin is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing at Catawba College. Prior to joining Catawba in 2017, she taught at Texas State University, the University of North Carolina Greensboro, and the University of Minnesota. In addition to teaching, Dr. Yurchisin conducts research on consumer behavior and the retail industry. Her research has been published in the International Journal of Consumer Studies, International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management,Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management, Journal of Business & Psychology, and others. In 2010, she co-authored the textbook, Fashion and the Consumer for Berg Publishers. When she’s not at Catawba, Dr. Yurchisin may be volunteering at a thrift store or an animal shelter or just spending time with her dog, Morticia.
