Iota Tau Alpha (Kappa Chapter) - Athletic Training Honor Society

Catawba College recently became a charter member of Iota Tau Alpha – Kappa Chapter. Iota Tau Alpha is an honor society for athletic training students whose purpose is to foster a high standard of ethics and professional practices and to create a spirit of loyalty and fellowship, particularly around students of Athletic Training Education. Iota Tau Alpha was founded at Troy University in 2004 by Mr. John Anderson.

The inaugural initiates consisted of (back row L-R): Andrew Sufficool, Jeffery Smith, Daniel Fitzgerald, John Poulos, Erin Hyde, and Lauren Eller. Front Row (L-R): Kristen Phillips, Colby Winston, Andrea Grenier, Jenna Page, Lindsay Ettinger, and Tammy May.

The following individuals were voted by the students as honorary members of Iota Tau Alpha based on their support and contributions to the Catawba College Athletic Training Education Program: Dr. Chip Comadoll, Jeff Taylor, PA, and Mr. David Fuller.
