Jennifer Elium Board '02
Student Success Coach
Office: ADM 133
(704) 637-4497
jeboard@catawba.edu

Jennifer began working at Catawba in 2015 with the C2C program (Catawba to Career) and Career Services and spent four years helping students find their major, career path, build skills employers are seeking, and editing their resumes and cover letters. She is excited to work with students as a new Success Coach and help them master their transformative education journey from freshman to alumni. Prior to her work at Catawba, she taught Biology and AP Environmental Science for five years at Jesse C. Carson High School in China Grove, NC. She also held several different management positions at James River Equipment, a local John Deere dealership before leaving business to pursue a teaching/coaching career. A 2002 Catawba grad, Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, and returned in 2007 to earn her teaching certification. When she’s not helping students, she loves to hike with her husband, bird watch, volunteer, and attend every Catawba event from athletics to theatre performances to Lessons and Carols.
