Updates from the Chiefs Club: January 21, 2020 |

Gary Readling, who has worked just about every home Catawba Football game the past 25 years and the father of Timmy Readling ’10 and Tommy Readling ’10, just helped us get one step closer to our goal of 750 Chiefs Club members. Both Timmy and Tommy helped out in the Catawba Sports Information office during their time at Catawba. Tommy is on our Chiefs Club Board and works for Mike Downs, who played basketball at Pfeiffer #33 and is now the County Manager for Cabarrus County. Mike’s son Grayson Downs ’11 played football at Catawba. Mike also helped us get one step closer to our goal of 750 Chiefs Club members. There are a lot of Catawba connections working together to help us reach our goal of 750 Chiefs Club members.
Grayson Downs '11
Tommy Readling ’10, Gary Readling, and Timmy Readling ’10. Gary took his two boys to their first Catawba Football game back in 1999, and they have been at every home game since.

This was the 45th year recognizing coaches from all sports – former NFL players, athletes, and coaches.
