Thanks to Ed Cook/American Solutions for Business for helping to support OUR Catawba Chiefs Club this year.

Thanks to former Catawba College wrestler Bob Budd ’82 for his support of OUR Catawba Chiefs Club.

Thanks to Trent Waller, GNC Live Well, and Trident Insured for helping to support OUR Catawba Chiefs Club this year.
Trent is a majority owner of Trident Insured here in Salisbury. His brother Seth Waller is a minority owner of the company along with former MLB baseball player Russ Adams. Trident Insured was created to provide unique Medicare and life insurance services. Trent served his country as a US Navy SEAL, completing four overseas deployments which included Afghanistan, Africa, and other parts of the Middle East.

Thanks to Reggie Tucker ’05 for helping to support OUR Catawba Chiefs Club this year.
Reggie made starts all four years as a defensive lineman under former Coach Chip Hester. As a junior, Tucker was named Second Team All-SAC in 2003. During his senior season, Reggie finished with 31 tackles and a sack. Since graduating from Catawba in 2005, Tucker has spent the last seventeen years with Norfolk Southern. For the last dozen of those years, he has been an engineer driving for the company. You can always catch Reggie at some home Catawba Football games during the season.

Thanks to former Catawba College Football player Matt Gross ‘02 for helping to support OUR Catawba Chiefs Club. Read more about his kick in 2001 - he missed the bus but not the kick. Gross' kick in 2000 sent Catawba Football to the NCAA II semifinals (read more). A 2002 graduate of Catawba College, Matt Gross has dedicated his career to serving families in the home building industry. After two decades working with other companies in the field, the former Catawba kicker started his own company in 2021. Haven Building is a custom home building and remodeling company serving clients in the North Atlanta area. Matt’s desire is to help build homes and create spaces that will better serve families in their day-to-day lives. Every home should be a haven for those who enter, and through Haven Building, Matt is proud to make that possible for his clients. He and his wife Megan have been married for 18 years and make their own home a haven just outside of Atlanta with their three daughters, Oakleigh, Eden, and Sage, and their dog, Hershey.
