Thanks to former Catawba Football/Golf team member Ken Avent II ’94 for helping to support OUR Catawba Chiefs Club again this year. Avent’s son Kenny Avent III is also a starting quarterback at Catawba.

A major locker room project has been completed, thanks to Catawba Head Women’s Soccer Coach Nick Brown and the Catawba Women’s Soccer team. The project was made possible from the gifts they received during the 2nd Annual Catawba Day of Giving. The before and after pictures are amazing and something to be very proud of.  A lot of history and tradition was built into our women’s soccer locker room.

This plaque given by the Class of ’32 sure did need a little work to get it back to looking bright and shiny. Even though it is not an athletics plaque, it is for many is the first thing you would see driving into campus in front of the gym. Thanks to Billy White from Catawba Facilities for helping to take care of this much needed project.

             
               
New graphics are being put up along the athletic hallway in Abernathy P.E. Center. Thanks to Associate Athletic Director Craig Turnbull and Head Swimming Coach Michael Sever for helping to put this project together.

This project was funded by a generous gift from former Catawba Basketball player and current Catawba Board of Trustee member Tom Dennard ’77 (#44) and his wife Mary Jo ’75.  Thank You.
