As of today, our Catawba Chiefs Club membership is at 707 which includes 280 new members, and our business listing promo has grown to 89 business listings.

OUR Catawba Chiefs Club had a very nice feature in the Salisbury Post after we reached 700 members. With no sports to cover (Middle School, High School, College, or Professional), we appreciate the Salisbury Post doing the special feature.

We also lost former Catawba Baseball player Bobby Butts ’57 this past week. Bobby’s son, Billy Butts ’82, also played baseball at Catawba and is a member of our Catawba Chiefs Club Board. Bobby’s grandson, Joe Butts ’22, is a current member of the Catawba Baseball team. You will not find a better family with so many very strong Catawba connections.
