Congratulations to Paige Haverty Stalcup ‘06 on her induction to the South Atlantic Conference Sports Hall of Fame.

The SAC uses a fireside chat format for their induction. Trip Durham was the moderator, and he will also be doing our 2021 SAC Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Tommy Readling ‘10
Chiefs Club President
Mr. Readling is a proud Chiefs Club member and has served two terms on its Board of Directors. In 2020, he served as the Chiefs Club Vice President and encouraged growth in its membership base. Tommy will also serve as chairman of the Hall of Fame Committee and Chiefs Club Executive Committee.
Tommy is currently employed as a Business Personal Property Appraiser with the Cabarrus County Tax Assessor’s office, a position he has held since 2010. He recently earned the Personal Property Specialist designation with IAAO in April 2021. He is a current member of the North Carolina Association of Assessing Officers as a certified appraiser. Tommy is also a certified County Real Property Appraiser and Personal Property Appraiser II by the North Carolina Department of Revenue. He is a 2010 graduate from Catawba College, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. His brother Timmy Readling ’10, a proud alum and Chiefs Club member, is currently employed as a managing attorney by the Davis Law Firm here in Salisbury.

Allison Adams ‘01
Chiefs Club Vice President
Mrs. Adams is a proud Chiefs Club member and has served on its Board of Directors. She is currently the Erwin Middle School Athletic Director and recently completed her 20th year of teaching Physical Education and Health. Allison obtained a Master of Science in Physical Education with an Emphasis in Health Promotion from Mississippi State ’03. She is a National Board Certified Teacher since 2006 and was named the Erwin Middle School Teacher of the Year in 2017-2018. During that same time period, Allison was a finalist for Rowan County Teacher of the Year.
Ed Dupree (her late father) and Allison coached 23 girls’ basketball teams (7th and 8th grade) for 12 years. The coaching dup accumulated nine regular season championships and five tournament championships. Allison ran cross country at Catawba College prior to her graduation in 2001. Coached by current Catawba Associate Athletic Director for Development Jeff Childress, she was the 1997 South Atlantic Conference Runner of the Year. Allison was also a member of the first women’s golf team at Catawba.
Allison is married to Frank Adams III and has two sons, Frank (7) and Drew (5). Her husband Frank retired from the professional golf ranks (after approximately 18 years) in October 2020 and works with Graham Roofing, a proud business sponsor of the Chiefs Club.
