The Catawba Connection still going strong. A family in Toyko, Japan sent a video of former Catawba Baseball player Jerry Sands who is now playing in the Japanese Baseball League. Their daughter who is also a Chiefs Club member played tennis at Catawba.  View the video from Japan.

The 2021 Catawba Baseball First Pitch Dinner has been set for Saturday, January 23rd, 2021. The Alumni speaker will be Pat McQuaid ’72. McQuaid played football at Catawba but went on to have an outstanding high school baseball coaching career in Florida. McQuaid has also helped out the Catawba Baseball team on their recent trips to play in Florida with a practice facility.

The keynote speaker will be Chip Baker who grew up in Spencer, NC and is now in his 37th year as an assistant baseball coach at Florida State. Read More
