Our Catawba Chiefs Club is right at 450 members including 90 new members so far this year.

Thanks to former Catawba Women’s Soccer player Jen Weaver ’95 for helping to support our Catawba Chiefs Club. Jen started with McCoy & Hillard, CPAs, PA as a staff accountant and elevated to Tax and Accounting Manager. She has experience providing accounting and tax services for individuals, businesses, trusts and estates.  Jen earned her Bachelors of Arts degree from Catawba College in 1995 and her Masters of Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2008. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina and a member of the AICPA & NCACPA.

Thanks to Jimmy Lewis ’89  for helping to support OUR Catawba Chiefs Club. Jimmy has been at Catawba since 1984 as a student. He was named the Director of Sports Information in 1996. That is 36 years working in the Catawba Athletic Department - a lot of games, players, and teams he has helped keep up with.

We have completed more Catawba athletic projects around the tennis courts. We were able to get the white shed powerwashed and the set of bleachers cleaned adjacent to courts #3 and #4. Both look a lot better!
    
     

One of the very best - Coach Dick Williams: Williams coached the 1992 Catawba Baseball team to a perfect 21-0 SAC season - definitely one of the good guys.

  
Thanks to Gary ’91 and Deirdre ’93 Blabon for helping support OUR Catawba Chiefs Club. Gary is a former Catawba Athletic Trainer, Chiefs Club Board member, and now a member of the Catawba Board of Trustees. Their daughter Gabby ’24 is a member of the Catawba Women’s Basketball team.
