Former Catawba Baseball player and Catawba Baseball Coach Marshall Murphy ’66 in memory of Coach Bill Haggerty ’79. Bill Haggerty was the manager on the baseball team that was coach by Marshall Murphy.

Former Catawba Baseball player and Catawba Sports Hall of Fame member Jerry Maye ’65 in honor of his baseball coach at Catawba Harvey Stratton ’54.

Michael Cabana ‘01 a former Catawba Tennis player in honor of his 2001 SAC Championship tennis team. The only Catawba Tennis team to ever win a SAC Championship.

Thanks to Dr. Pat Whitley for helping to support OUR Catawba Chiefs Club. Dr. Whitley coached all five Catawba women’s athletic teams from 1964-1973 and continued coaching tennis and volleyball until 1981.

Note that this year we are scheduling the First Pitch Dinner in the Abernethy P.E. Center/Goodman Gym to accommodate this growing special event for Catawba Baseball.

Thanks to Mrs. Linda Barnes Hunt ’60 for helping to support OUR Catawba Chiefs Club. Mrs. Hunt’s granddaughter Merionne Hunt ’22 is a member of the Catawba Women’s Tennis team but Mrs. Hunt likes to spend most of her time watching Catawba Baseball.

The SAC has set a tenative 2020-2021 Men’s and Women’s Basketball schedule - View Schedule. Game times for the women will be 6:00pm during the week and 2:00pm on Saturdays. The men will play at 8:00pm during the week and 4:00pm on Saturdays.
