Thanks to former Catawba Football player Andy Wingo ’95 for helping to support OUR Catawba Chiefs Club this year. Wingo graduated cum laude from Catawba in 1995 and played on the offensive line. Wingo is now a partner in the Homesley & Wingo Law Group PLLC that serves its clients in various types of law such as criminal defense, family and business law, estate planning and more.
The Catawba Men’s Cross Country had a congratulations send off before they left to the airport for the NCAA II national meet in Tampa, FL.

The CLASS Act Dinner to help raise funds for each of our women’s athletic teams at Catawba has been set for Saturday March 26th, 2022. The event was first held in 2019 but was cancelled the past two years. Special recognition for will be for Angie Morton ‘84, former Catawba student-athlete and Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Alumni remarks will be from former Catawba student-athlete and Chiefs Club Board member Allison Dupree Adams ’01.
The First Pitch Dinner for Catawba Baseball will be Saturday, January 22, 2022. Billy Butts '82 will be our alumni speaker, Doug Rice from The Racing Performance Network will be our Master of Ceremonies, and our keynote speaker will be former Catawba Football and Golf coach, David Bennett. More on this special event will be released in the coming weeks.
