We lost another one of the good guys for our Catawba Chiefs Club, Catawba Athletics, and Catawba College. Former Catawba Football player, assistant coach, Chiefs Club President, Chiefs Club Board member, and Catawba Sports Hall of Famer Charlie Little '64 passed away on Friday December 3rd, 2021.

Thanks to Patrick Burgdorf for helping to support OUR Catawba Chiefs Club this year. Pat was a high school teammate of current Catawba Lacrosse coach Peter Bourque at Westfield High School and later continued his lacrosse career at Washington & Lee.
Currently, Mr. Burgdorf (West Allenhurst, NJ) is an investment advisor with WestPark Capital in New York City. He understands how important donations mean to college athletics and knows every amount helps. Pat is married with three children and has volunteered his time as Chief of Deal Fire Company and youth coach for Ocean Youth Lacrosse.

Thanks to the 2021 Catawba Women’s Soccer team, the championship streak is still going on for another year. Since 1982, a Catawba Athletic team has either won a regular season championship or a conference tournament championship. This year, thanks to the Catawba Women’s Soccer team and Catawba Baseball team, that streak will continue for the 39th year.
