Some events may be cancelled or postponed, so please stay tuned here for updates and announcements. Factors included in these decisions are things like the number of people involved, whether the event is in an enclosed or outdoor venue, and the likely presence of people who would be more at-risk for exposure to the virus. 

Status of Upcoming Events

  • Campus Visits - No campus visits will take place from March 28 through May 15.

All Theatre productions through April 13 have been cancelled. Read More
  • She Kills Monsters - POSTPONED until Fall 2020 


All Music performances have been POSTPONED or CANCELLED. Stay tuned for updates.


  • The NCAA has cancelled all winter and spring sport championships. The South Atlantic Conference has suspended all athletic activity through the remainder of the academic year. Coaches will follow up with student athletes with additional information.
  • CLASS Act Dinner - RESCHEDULED for November 13 (Make a Gift to Support Women's Athletics)
  • Catawba Golf Classic on May 8th - CANCELLED (Make a Gift to Support Catawba Football)
  • Chiefs Club Board Meeting on  May 5th - CANCELLED


The following events have been postponed or cancelled. Registrants for these events will also be notified and updated via the contact information used when registering.
  • Wine Dinner Fundraiser  - POSTPONED (Date TBA)
  • The Alumni Flag Football Game - POSTPONED (Date TBA)
  • Socratic Scholarship Luncheon - NO PLANS TO RESCHEDULE
