2017 Freshman Retreats
Category: Special Events
The Freshmen Orientation Retreat is a required event for incoming freshmen (including early college students) and transfers with less than 18 credit hours.
The purpose of the Freshman Retreats are to provide an opportunity for the members of the Class of 2021 to get to know your classmates and some members of the faculty prior to the start of the hectic activity of registration and the beginning of classes. The retreat is designed to help freshmen gain a better understanding of the college experience and be successful. Members of the Alpha Leadership Core will be on-hand to answer questions you may have from an upperclassman’s point-of-view. Students are given guidance in discovering who they are and how this understanding can lead to discussions about vocation and career.
