March 19

Categories: Admissions Events (Prospectives), Financial Aid Events

The Spirit of Catawba Scholarship is a full tuition award for bright students who excel in one or more of the primary values of Catawba: Scholarship, Character, Culture, and Service.

Eligible students may have started their own service organization, initiated a new club at their school, excelled as a leader in their school or community, started their own business or conducted a research project.  To be considered for this scholarship award, students must apply and be admitted to Catawba by February 26.

If you would like to nominate an admitted, first-time freshman who you feel encompasses one or more of Catawba’s primary values, please contact the student's Admissions counselor to request a nomination form. Students may be nominated by a teacher, school/guidance counselor, admissions counselors, community members, etc. Note that relatives are not allowed to nominate candidates for this scholarship.

Once a student is accepted and invited to participate in the competition, all supporting information for all competitions must be submitted or postmarked by March 8, 2021.
