**This event will now take place VIRTUALLY - details will be communicated with registrants **

The Spirit of Catawba Scholarship is a full tuition award for bright students who excel in one or more of the primary values of Catawba: Scholarship, Character, Culture, and Service.

Eligible students may have started their own service organization, initiated a new club at their school, excelled as a leader in their school or community, started their own business or conducted a research project.  To be considered for this scholarship award, students must be admitted to Catawba by February 21.

If you would like to nominate an admitted, first-time freshman who you feel encompasses one or more of Catawba’s primary values, please contact the student's Admissions counselor to request a nomination form. Students may be nominated by a teacher, school/guidance counselor, admissions counselors, community members, etc. Note that relatives are not allowed to nominate candidates for this scholarship.

Once a student is accepted and invited to participate in the competition, all supporting information for all competitions must be submitted or postmarked by February 28, 2020.

All Admissions events have been cancelled. There will be no campus visits between March 28 and May 15.
