Spirit of Catawba Scholarship Competition
The Spirit of Catawba Scholarship is a full tuition award for bright students who excel in one or more of the primary values of Catawba: Scholarship, Character, Culture, and Service.
Eligible students may have started their own service organization, initiated a new club at their school, excelled as a leader in their school or community, started their own business or conducted a research project. To be considered for this scholarship award, students must be admitted to Catawba by February 21.
Any admitted first-time freshman who feels they encompass one or more of Catawba’s primary values is invited to apply to compete for this award. Students may also receive an invitation to apply for the award on the basis of their application for admission or through nomination by a teacher, school counselor, or community member. Note that relatives are not allowed to nominate candidates for this scholarship.
Once a student is accepted and invited to participate in the competition, all supporting information for all competitions must be submitted or postmarked by February 28, 2020.
