West Scholars in Atlanta
April 28, 2015
Students in the Sophomore West Scholar Cohort traveled to Atlanta, Georgia over part of Spring Break 2015. They saw the play “Wicked” and visited Agatha Christie’s Mystery Theater, CNN, The World of Coca-Cola, the Georgia Aquarium, Zoo Atlanta and the Fernbank Museum. Students also visited the home place of Martin Luther King, Jr. and visited the MLK Museum. Everyone enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of Chick-Fil-A. Students also visited Grady High School, a very unique high school that actually supported a wide variety of curriculum options. Students enjoyed the many tourist attractions Atlanta had to offer as well as good food and even better company!
